1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing and using KarriWorks ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Description of Service
KarriWorks is a platform that connects ABN-registered workers with Australian companies for temporary and contract work opportunities. We facilitate the connection between workers and companies but do not employ workers directly.
3. User Accounts
3.1 Registration
- You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- You must be at least 18 years old to use this Platform
- Workers must have a valid Australian Business Number (ABN)
3.2 Account Responsibilities
- You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms
4. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Provide false or misleading information
- Impersonate another person or entity
- Engage in fraudulent activities
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Use the Platform for any illegal purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
5. Payment Terms
5.1 For Companies
- Companies pay a commission fee on completed work (currently 20%)
- Payment is due upon completion of the work assignment
- Companies are responsible for ensuring timely payment of invoices
- Late payments may result in account suspension
5.2 For Workers
- Workers are paid as independent contractors under their ABN
- Workers receive payment on the Friday of the week following mission completion
- Workers are responsible for their own tax obligations
- KarriWorks facilitates payment but is not the employer
6. Intellectual Property
All content on the Platform, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of KarriWorks and is protected by Australian and international copyright laws.
7. Limitation of Liability
KarriWorks acts as a platform connecting workers and companies. We are not responsible for:
- The quality of work performed
- Workplace safety or accidents
- Disputes between workers and companies
- Tax compliance or ABN registration
- Payment disputes (beyond facilitating the transaction)
- Any damages arising from the use of our Platform
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold KarriWorks harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Platform or violation of these terms.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for:
- Violation of these Terms of Service
- Fraudulent or illegal activities
- Non-payment (for companies)
- Repeated complaints from other users
10. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these terms will be governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Both parties agree to attempt mediation before pursuing legal action.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

14. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any guarantee, warranty, term, condition, right, or remedy implied or imposed by the Australian Consumer Law which cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted, or modified.
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
